My 2026 Bank of America Chicago 13.1 Fundraising Page

Hi, I'm Amanda!

I'm a Chicago mom, runner, and assistant cross country and track & field coach at my kids' school — and I'm asking for your support for a cause that's very close to home.

Running has given me so much. I've crossed two marathon finish lines, I race year-round, and I get to pass that love on to the next generation — coaching kids through cross country in the fall and now through track and field this spring. Watching a kid discover what their body is capable of? It changes them. And honestly, it keeps changing me too.

That's exactly why I chose to fundraise for Chicago Run. What they do mirrors what I get to witness every day on the track — kids building confidence, pushing through hard things, and finding out they're stronger than they thought. The difference is that Chicago Run does it at scale, bringing inclusive running and physical activity programs to thousands of young people from Pre-K through high school across communities where access to safe play is too often out of reach.

This year, I'm taking on the Chi-Distance Series — a multi-race challenge spanning some of Chicago's most iconic courses throughout the year. My next race is the Bank of America Half Marathon on June 7, and every mile is a chance to raise money for kids who deserve the same finish-line feeling I get to chase.

My goal is to raise $1,250. Please consider making a contribution to my 2026 Chicago 13.1 fundraiser and sharing this page with your friends and family. Every dollar puts more Chicago kids on the starting line.

Thank you for running alongside me. 💙
