For the past four years, I’ve dedicated myself to training for and running 5Ks, 10Ks, and half marathons. Each race has marked a milestone in my journey, but what’s mattered most is the process—the discipline, the early mornings, and the commitment to keep moving forward. Along the way, I’ve found a supportive community in New York, a group of friends and fellow runners who have celebrated victories and helped me push through challenges. Together, we’ve built resilience and shared in the joy of progress.
Now, I’m ready for my next big challenge: in 2026, I’ll be running my very first marathon in Chicago, the City of Big Shoulders. This goal is about more than just the distance—it’s about maintaining momentum, honoring the work I’ve put in, and embracing the adventure of marathon training. 2026 is the year I make this dream a reality.
I’m proud to run in support of Chicago Run, an organization that empowers thousands of young people—from Pre-K through high school—with equitable access to inclusive running and physical activity programs. Through the power of sport, Chicago Run helps build resilience to stress and trauma and develops vital social and emotional skills.
I invite you to join me on this journey. Please consider making a contribution to my 2026 Chicago Marathon fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar raised will help advance Chicago Run’s incredible mission. Learn more about their work and the impact you can make!
Thank you for being part of my community and for supporting this cause that means so much to me.
