Hi everyone! This fall, I’ll be running my very first marathon! Running has been a huge part of my life for many years and running the Chicago Marathon has always been a dream of mine. As an elementary school teacher, I’m incredibly excited and grateful to combine my love for running and my passion for working with children to support an amazing organization that benefits kids all across Chicago.
I will be fundraising for Chicago Run as part of the 2026 Chicago Marathon, and I would be so grateful for your support—whether by donating or sharing this page with family and friends. Every dollar truly makes a difference.
Chicago Run empowers thousands of young people from Pre-K through high school by providing equitable access to inclusive running and physical activity programs. Through the power of sport, they help build resilience to stress and trauma while developing important social and emotional skills and growth in physical and mental health in youth across Chicago.
Running has made me stronger both physically and mentally, and as a classroom teacher, I see firsthand just how essential movement is for kids. For many students, programs like Chicago Run provide one of the only opportunities they have to get outside, move their bodies, and feel supported - which is why this program is so important.
Thank you so much for cheering me on and supporting this amazing cause. Learn more about Chicago Run here!
